Just last week ran into an old friend. Last time we talked he was getting ready to retire. Was looking forward to the time off with grandkids.
Fast forward to now, working for another company. Asked what happen? Three weeks is all he was off work. His home is paid for and is getting a good retirement. Said he could not afford healthcare. Asked about the exchanges because everyone I know is getting great deals. Said he only checked cobra, wanted no part of ""Obamacare""!
Explained it a little better, but he still has to wait until open enrollment later this year.
