Listening to Fox News almost killed this fellow

Angstadt was in bad condition prior to his March 31 valve-replacement surgery. “I was going to die,” he told this blog. “I was preparing myself. I knew I was pretty sick since last October.” Yet he still resisted the attempts of friend Bob Leinhauser to get him enrolled in Obamacare. “I had to back him into a corner,” says Leinhauser, who worked for 27 years for Montgomery County’s fire and rescue department. He told Angstadt, “You’re what we call a cardiac cripple.”

After signing up for insurance via the Obamacare exchange, Angstadt pays $26.11 for the Highmark Blue Cross silver PPO plan, as reported by the Inquirer. The policy took effect just before Angstadt’s surgery.

Fox News viewers are the stupidest people in the universe, no surprise there. Even when their own lives are at stake.

Kudos to his friend for the intervention. Where's Pete? He's next.

And it won't be long before he's in there having a triple bypass that everybody else is paying for...see what he's drinking right after heart surgery? Two big bottles of A&W. What a remarkable idiot. I suspect there were a couple of double cheesburgers in the bag with the root beer. See you back in the OR Dean.

It really is sad to note that some Americans are so dumb, they have to be forced. I wish it didn't have to be this way, but it does.

Here's what happens to poor lost souls like 5 below. Right out of the gate they start pissing and moaning about what a bad deal something is (always something promoted by a Democrat or liberal), and the keep pissing and moaning, with increasing veracity as time moves along. And then it becomes clear that it's actually a pretty good deal, and in the case of the ACA, a remarkably good deal, just like it is for big Dean Angstadt. But by then it's too late. They've become so publicly hostile and dismissive toward it, that as good as it is, they're afraid they'll look like an utter fool if they reverse themselves. So they don't and they end up fucked out of a benefit because of their own idiotic pride.
