Picture going to a Billy Preston concert in the early seventies. A young skinny long haired blue jean wearing white boy. Probably one of the less then a hundred in a arena with a vast majority of young Black African Americans in attendance.

Was treated just fine but at first felt a little uneasy. One of my Black friends laughed and said "you know how I feel all the time!"

When I was at the University of Florida the off campus dump that my room mates and I were renting got firebombed by blacks. This was during the race riots of 1969.

Considering the shitty way blacks have been treated in this country, I don't blame them a goddamned bit.

One of my room mates was a racist piece of shit.

One day he came in bragging about how there had been a group of black kids out in the street when he came driving up and he had aimed the car right at them and floored it and made them jump out of the way. Probably why we got targeted when the rioting started.

Overall, I think blacks have shown remarkable restraint and forgiveness for all the shit they have been delt.
