I heard they cleared a school out just in time. They used the school as a safe haven to sit out two storms back to back and when they thought the worst was over they sent everyone home. Then 30 minutes later a tornado came down and the school took a direct hit. That was a close call. I'm seeing places in different states on tv torn to pieces, it's heartbreaking to hear the loss of life. Not only do those people have to rebuild their lives but they will be dealing with the loss off friends and loved ones while doing so.
