I'd say it's about 90% nonsense.

I have seen some people go into debt for some really stupid things in my life, but that does not excuse what has happened to our society where debt has been used by the haves to enslave the have nots.

I have an idea - the rich folks in Congress can prove their sincerity and help out. With their own money.

Perhaps I should've said MOST debt is a personal choice. Even college - if you spend 4 years working on a social services degree I applaud, but don't expect me to pay for it. My dad got his civil engineering degree with help from the GI bill. That is earned btw. Anyway him and his roommates treated themselves on Fridays by using real milk.

Next time I drive by a college and look at all the new cars in the lot the last thing I'll do is feel sorry for their college debt.
