IIRC, Doodles was Sigourney Weaver's uncle, a prolific, talented, and versatile long-lived career entertainer

He's hilarious. He also did lead on some of Spike Jones biggest hits.

A couple years ago my wife was using the term "doodle" when she didn't know or couldn't think of the correct term. You know, like "whatchamacallit" or "thing-ama-bob".

Then we went on our Fiji cruise with a bunch of Aussies, and learned their definition of a "doodle". Before the cruise was over, wife was no longer using the term.

Here's a hint- if Zeke were an Aussie, he'd say guns were doodle symbols.

They should have loved Doodles Down Under.

They also get a big kick out of us calling waist pouches "fanny packs", as a "fanny" to them is a snatch.

Fun to say though

Ordered the balance of parts for the S-10 clutch job. I'm going to do the input shaft bearing too, so clutch kit, all seals, said bearing, greasable pivot ball stud, mount, clutch MC, slave, and hose, and the universals. I tried for quality parts and research plus experience led me to an Exedy clutch kit and master, Raybestos Prof slave & line, Timken bearing, Spicer non greasable 'Life' u-joints. Most seals were various NOS so, made in the US, as was the mount. The mount was less than $3 delivered. Crazy. Not complaining

It makes so many different chirps squeaks and rattles, and vibrates like crazy, I'm looking forward to seeing which part or parts is worn. This weekend!

Needed some exhaust band clamps so off to man land tonight - Summit Racing Equipment.

It's an amazing place, both sides of those glass walls have different engines on stands lining them.

There was a 65 Wildcat on the right, dark red with a white hardtop and white leather, gorgeous, and the left an old heavily customized Comet. Eyeballed a nice injected bowtie 502 for the S-10 and a twin turbo 4.6 cobra for the G Marquis. Suuuure, and yes, jail or morgue please.

Going to hopefully start the job tonight, at least get the ujoints done, on these chevys they have a plastic lock on the original joints and you have to melt them out.
