I have his Christmas and 'Delights' lps (Delights has Doodles Weavers' Eleanor Rigby, VERY funny). I came across his radio show a couple three years ago, so I expect yes.

Oh and got everything I need for the S-10 clutch job except the universals and exhaust clamps. I'll get the ujoints when I have the old ones off (there's conflicting info on the correct one) and I need to measure the exhaust.

So, do you keep the dead cars in the front yard and the dead refrigerators in back or is it the other way around?

LOL! Dead friges in the front, that way they're available for neighbor kids to play in

I've still been driving the '91 S-10 but expect it to go BANG! at anytime, then, whirr! whirr! without going anywhere. Between the clutch and ujoints it makes a number of interesting noises & vibrations.

It's worth this job and more (I'm looking forward to a complete suspension rebuild), it is perhaps the coolest car-of-the-moment I've ever owned and so clean rust & dent wise. I wish the seat went back one or two more notches though, and I have to move my foot off the clutch to roll down the window. I have appreciated having a pickup recently, and it's been averaging 22-25 mpg overall.

I will allow all y'alls to gaze upon it's magnificence again.

Seriously I had no idea it was cool. I'm not a very cool person, I only wanted a clean truck with a rep for reliability and decent mileage, and the older Rangers are imports. But so many young guys tell me it is.

I think it's too short for correct proportions, personally.

The REALLY old Rangers are Mazdas but the Rangers from the same era as your S-10 are American-made. They're also really good. I've had a couple ('85 and '87).

I'd really like to find a good clean late '80s Bronco II. They're basically an enclosed Ranger. They're also weird/cool looking.

Ah so, I thought the older ones were as well. It would've given me a larger pool to choose from. Oh well.

I remember when the Bronco 2s came out. We (me and friends) thought they were cool.

PS - IT'S, ITS'

Dead 'fridges can go on the porch with the couch.
I've an '89 Ranger in the yard that hasn't been driven for a few years now, bought it new when I retired from the Army. in-tank fuel pump needs replacement now, it's just not worth the cost to me in spite of the truck's utility value being squandered just sitting there.
