Is there room for an adult in the GOP?
Jeb Bush makes a rational statement about illegal immigration which made me wonder, can a rational man be elected in today's GOP?

Does the GOP have room for any rational actor?
Is it possible the GOP passively ignores the teabaggers knowing they have no other option but them and move to rational candidates?

It's their only option if they want to win in an increasingly difficult electoral demographic. The problem is that their 'bagger base thinks McCain and Romney lost the general election because they weren't conservative enough.

I challenge this statement.
I find it hard to believe that any educated rational person believes this. That of course leaves two options. Are the teabaggers that stupid or (as I believe) just from an all or nothing mindset.

I have never seen evidence of 'baggers being educated, rational persons.

So you honestly feel that they simply don't understand life outside of the backwoods here in 2014?

There's no other way to explain it. How else could someone believe that McCain and Romney both lost because they weren't conservative enough? The character of two otherwise honorable men was greatly diminished by their insincere kowtowing to the 'baggers during the primaries. It hurt them with both 'baggers and independents.

Jeb Bush is every bit as evil as his brother George, but he is way smarter and more way more articulate. And he wants to be President. This is one scary motherfucker.
And he will run.

I do not trust him either. Perhaps the morons in the party will save us from him.
