"Mix blatant bigotry with poor spelling. Add a dash of ALL CAPS. Top it off with a violent threat. And there you have it: A recipe for the worst of online comments, scourge of the Internet."

Here is more from this linked article:

What Web sites don’t want is the kind of off-putting nastiness that spewed forth under a recent CNN.com article about the Affordable Care Act.

“If it were up to me, you progressive libs destroying this country would be hanging from the gallows for treason. People are awakening though. If I were you, I’d be very afraid,” wrote someone using the name “JBlaze.”

Here it my comment. It's very frustrating and difficult to follow and understand subject matter on a thread when content is hijacked and trashed.

I would not have a problem with active duty military personnel carrying a sidearm when in uniform and on duty.

Veterans, that's something else.

I'm not one who universally lauds the military or those in uniform but I have no issue with the above.

Wasn't the murderer active duty military? With all the PTSD, depression and anxiety disorders among returning soldiers, having them all armed sounds like a recipe for mass carnage.

Gotta disagree Tom. There's no threat of enemy action in Texas, mostly...

Supposedly the same store sold that one as the other used at Ft H. Having owned a shop for a couple years that bought and sold guns I don't know how I'd feel about putting them into the hands of someone like these but it would be difficult to say the least to deal with it. In hindsight I'd at least tell my employees beforehand that they are under no obligation to sell anything to anyone, and if anything, ANYTHING, did not feel right, terminate the transaction and lock the cases.

Wow, this almost sounds like admission that gun free zones don't work.
