Enrollment means checking the little blue box. This will put a true # on how many people are insured.
I think there is a rush to check off, but not to make a payment.

Yes. I think the insurance companies are terrified that the government is not going to come through with the subsidy if they are sinking.
This will give them cover to jack up the rates.

We shall see and next year those that refuse to insure will pay a nominal penalty, about a c note and climbing after that. In the long run it'll balance out, I believe. I really like that people won't be excluded from insuring themselves because they have a pre existing condition or that the insurance companies can't use lifetime caps to deny treatment. It's not a panacea but it's a start in the right direction.

Listen to yourself, man. Here you are wishin' and hopin' the enrollment is less, that payments aren't made, that people aren't insured. Then what? People don't get treated and/or people go broke, and some number die. So here you are rooting for sickness, deprivation, and death.

Because the person who got it passed was not a Republican. If this was passed by Reagan or the Bushes all the Baggers would be high-fiving everyone about how finally people had to be responsible for buying health care.
