I think he was trying to model himself after Orwell's Ellis, from Burmese Days.

If you can't take the heat...

I can't spend any time on those serious political sites. If you can't break balls on occasion talking politics it's not for me.

Pukka had such a jaundiced view of humanity which might explain his odd
behavior.

That was the way I saw the good, bad, ugly thread. We saw descriptions of the bad and the ugly but never any I would describe as good.

According to some of the tracks he's left on the interwebs, he seems to follow a pattern of drama queen exits and eventual stealth returns, often under a new name. An odd duck.

I miss the guy.

So, he had a jaundiced view of humanity? It's not like there is no just cause for that, now is there?

Having lived longer than anyone else posting here I have probably seen enough to give me jaundice. Sure there are rotten people out there but I refuse to let them sour me on life. The thing was that he showed us the Bad and the Ugly but where were the Good?

I miss him too. He has a lot of goods. But it does seem he's gotten off into playing his own personal game, and isn't able to really fit in anywhere....
