An actual conviction of a non-Republican voter committing voter fraud.

I would think you would not want to see voter fraud regardless of party. I can provide convictions but hard fact as to which party they vote for is mostly privet to the general public.

True,

but I think there is one case in Florida of a Republican activist committing voting fraud.

I bet you cannot find 10 convicitons of legitmate voter fraud in the last 5 years.

No, no, no.

What happened with ACORN is that workers were paid per application so a number of them filled out bogus apps so they could collect the money. Then ACORN reviewed all the applications, flagged the ones they found suspicious and then sent them all in to the state for processing. Again, they flagged the ones that were suspicious when they sent them in. That's due diligence. They would have been in violation of the law if they had not sent the bogus apps in.

The voter fraud BS was fizzling out. It was going nowhere so the right wing dirty tricks squad (Breitbart) sent James O'Keefe and his girlfriend out to scam ACORN volunteers on the totally unrelated subject of running a prostitution business. The whole scam finally unraveled but not until after Congress yanked ACORN's funding.

Neither ACORN nor any ACORN employee was ever prosecuted for anything, far less convicted. The same can't be said of O'Keefe.

John

There you go again. It's way, way more than a divisive issue pete. So here...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fQKLUE3X0d4

As Heldman so effectively points out, it's the disenfranchisement of millions of voters for 1/1,000,000th of a percent of a problem. And I must admit I expect no less of right wingers that they would be fine with it being fine for millions of poor, elderly, and infirm Americans (who, obviously, are much more likely to vote for democrats) having even more difficulty getting into a voting booth so that 20 people in Wisconsin don't get away with polling place fraud.

The nitwit brings up Acorn...I'm surprised minus 5 hasn't brought up Acorn...and Heldman reminds him that there's a difference between polling place fraud and registration fraud. And finally..."Bill (you fucking idiot) it's not a problem." It's legislation equivalent to trying to prevent somebody from being hit by lightning.

Finally...Caroline Heldman makes me crazy. She's brilliant, she's gutsy, she's beautiful, she kicks cretinous right-win ass all over FAUXNEWS...ahhhhhhhhh.......gott-in-himmel!!!!

Millions of disenfranchised voters? Can you back that up?

Why don't we have low income state ID assistance in tandem.

Pete

Did you see urban voters in line for hours and hours waiting patiently to cast their vote for Obama? Its already happening and you haven't even gotten your way regarding ID.

Can I back it up?

There's no need for low cost tax supported state ID support. IT'S NOT A FUCKING PROBLEM!!! Yes I'm fucking hollering.
