We have the best schools in the country so we get what we pay for. Despite all the moaning by Repubs about unfriendly to business they still locate here because of a well educated workforce.

Another aspect the link fails to mention is population density. More people equals higher demand for infrastructure and public services. Of course taxes are low in Wyoming, it is mostly empty space. And, likewise New York and California are our most populous states, so...................
