Maybe if you quitcher incessant whining about all the abuse you're suffering, you have some credibility.

No one in the world would be safe if these folks were running the country. It was really scary reading it. The rantings and ravings of lunatics.

You've apparently only checked out agreeable sites then. I see argument, insults and propaganda everywhere I look on the internet. Most of it downright silly. You should know, you've shared a good bit of it with us.

So, you have difficulty understanding me. Nothing new. I've grown used to it.

Libertarian my ass, BTW. I believe that regulation of industry is necessary, I believe workers have a right to organize should THEY, (not the GOP, the employer or anyone else), deem it necessary and I also believe in maintaining a strong social safety net.

This does not comport well with todays Libertarians, now does it?

They could........but the myriad hurdles they face impede that, don't they?

Of course someone would want to live here, if their current residence is Mogadishu or the slums of any third world country but that isn't the group we're talking about Mike.

I wonder how many 'First Worlder's' want to move to the Uhmerica?

Not really. Very few living in First World nations would prefer to live here than in their homeland. Of course folks in the Third World want to live here, just as they want to live in any other First World nation from the UK to Germany to France. In fact, the top ten countries for immigrants to the US are all in either Central America or Asia.

FWIW, we are 14th in terms of percentage of foreign-born population.

That old wheeze?

For the most part, the people who wish to come here are living in countries other than the developed democracies and it's down to our standard of living. People who live in, say, the better off EU countries - particularly the northern social democracies - have a standard of living at least the equal of our own and a society that isn't fragmented and characterized by inter-factional disharmony and downright antipathy. Living in more open and informed societies they see what goes on here and want no part of it.

Who cares about the difference between any other site and here? What's the difference between winning and whining?

PLENTY!!! Why are we hollering???

You whine more than any dozen other members here. If you think you're so abused...why are you hanging around. A decent housecat wouldn't put up with this. Maybe you like it...and like to complain about it.

You would be far from the first person I've run into with this sometimes interesting neurotic mix.

But maybe I'm being too hard on you. Here...let me join with you, maybe you won't feel so singled out...
D-RAY!!! Zeke's picking on me again!!! I can't stand it! Make him stop!!!!!!

Feel better now?
