No matter how many times you wish to deny it away, what Tom said is true. Just look it up on Conservapedia.

Oh c'mon whell. It was funny. Listen genious...? And I even poked some fun at myself just to make it clear I was just fuckin' around. It obviously gave you the opportunity to run with it like a crazed horse that's taken the bit.

Lighten up and live a little for christ's sake.

I think it is time for unemployment insurance to go through some overhauling also. I know many (meaning more than just a few) people who go to Alaska and work for 8-9 months making over 100k every year, then come back to the mainland and just coast for 3-4 months getting full unemployment benefits. Also included are some union friends in the IBEW who have top seniority and will do the same thing, and since they are top seniority and friendly with dispatch can get the same benefits because they just ask the dispatcher to not call them until they are ready to go back to work. BTW, the Alaska guys are non-union, so don't go mistaking this as an anti-union rant. I just think unemployment insurance needs some some more oversight.

Why is anyone surprised that the biggest moocher Red state, Alaska, is full of these self entitled and lazy 'pubbies?

Well, except for one misguided soul from Wassila who hangs out here. He's alright.

The Dems want to put everyone on one program or another & the Reps talk about how many jobs we are about to lose, but want to cut back benefits right now.

"Political Football" nails it IMO.

The House had all the time in the world to pass it before it expired and they took their vacation. So 3 mo. retro and 2 months to go? Well ain't that just swell. Fat lot of good retro does for the unfortunate people who couldn't make rent in this winter we are having and lost their place to live. So will Boehner act like a Republican or a teabagger stooge?

Stooge. He's too busy propping up Darryl Issa's quixotic crusade to kill the IRS.

Benghazi! Squirrel!!
