Bob, I note that the two tables you say you have are changers, as is the ELAC you asked me about earlier. Is that what you're looking for?
The PL-41 and a number of the suggestions so far are single play manual turntables, the opposite end of the stick from your changers. They lack the convenience of a changer or even a single play automatic or auto return turntable but some believe that the lack of mechanical complexity in a manual makes for a much more reliable turntable and also a better sounding one.
For myself, I prefer single play auto return because you don't have to remember to get uo and take the arm off the record at the end. They're far less complex than a changer and also less complex than a single play automatic. Also, the good ones suffer no loss of fidelity from the return mech.
