The real question, WHY the delay? Why the other delays? And does he have the authority to do these things?

With every delay the insurance companies are seeing the sheer incompetence of this admin and making it more expensive for everyone. Which will add steam to the next rollover in 2014

Yep those voices are confusing me. Last week they were saying I can liberate myself from work.

This week I'm supposed to be a slave to work because they want to extend the mandate.

Political gain is my slave master.

They are so afraid of implementing ACA do to the negative impact on elections. Why? if it's so good for everybody would they not run on their beautiful law. Every dem running this election year has told Obama to stay clear, good advice.

Perhaps they will kick the can down the road past my life expectancy.

These guys are not idiots here and they know exactly "Why"

But of course they will argue otherwise.

I also see all this delay negatively impacting the insurance companies, bottom line a "Bailout".

They based all their costs on so many people of such and such a demographic signing up, between inflated expectations and the horrible execution they're being squeezed.

And where's the data on paid for sign ups?

Not only is it rolling federal debt onto us, it's also giving us a pay cut:

“CBO estimates that the ACA will cause a reduction of roughly 1 percent in aggregate labor compensation over the 2017-2024 period, compared with what it would have been otherwise.”

If SS had been setup like this, were it was left up to the individual to sign up. Then what would of happened? Most would put it off, waiting till just before retirement. The Congress at the time knew it had to be mandatory and taken out of pay. No options A,B,C all based on income.

So it might take awhile but it will dawn on Congress as the only solution.
