Hey I got another awesome plan.

All Baby boomers lets retire tomorrow. We got Heathcare and so many good things we can rely on. This way we can let our kids take over the work force as slave labor to support us. Oh and they can also take care of that nasty national debt that's adding a trillion a year at this point.

The truth is Baby Boomers don't have to retire tomorrow to crush our children in debt. We will all be there very soon and we provided the burden for them.

Can we get stubborn old people to go to the doctor? How does the ACA fix this?

From what I can see the ONLY thing the ACA does is shift the burden from employers to private citizens. Which btw I think is probably a good thing but does nothing for quality of care. Time will tell. I hope you're right.

Our research is great why do you think all those European drug companies maintain offices here.

One simple reason why young women and old people don't go to the doctor, it is called money

As far as my views go on monetary policies that has been learned over the past 7 years. Protection mode kicked in and you would do well to delve into it. I mean really it's the head of the beast that keeps the world a mess in the first place. The Politics are just a distraction by design.
And there is your problem.

I am not certain how much of it is but every year we give our tax accountant the cost of health insurance , doctor, dentis, and prescription expenditures.

This year there was even a question regarding auto mileage incurred for medical reasons. I was shocked when I added up how many miles we incurred when I tore the meniscus in my left knee, over 400. Now how would a person with no car have fared?

Insurance providers were only aloud to operate in designated states.

Providing a monopoly and shooting fish in a bowl.
That was done to prevent insurance companies from locating in states with few if any rules.

Has it never occured to you that tiny Delaware sets the operational rules for so many companies. Have you ever wondered why?

Correction shitty employers are providing the disincentive to be a slave. I worked up to the age of 73 because I enjoyed what I was doing. Then a big Texas company bought the outfit and imposed their management style so I retired.

I guess you can't see the good in that statement. That would cause a labor shortage that would make unemployment plummet and raise wages for everyone. I lived the labor shortage in the mid-90's due to the housing frenzy. Contractors were going to jobsites begging subs to work for them and offering pretty good incentives to do so. Go ahead...retire!
