I think you still need the Presidents signature on a repealed law. Has Congress actually repealed one?

Clear Channel went through here and bought up some of the local stations. Yes, you can tell. All of the sudden, we have a bunch of new jocks pushing an overtly political message. On my way home from work, one morning I turned on the most popular rock station in the area and the first thing I heard was; "Wow. Virginia lost, the Governors office, Lieutenant Governors office and the Attorney General to Democrats. I'm thinking that's not a good thing................".

The point is I never heard anyone discuss politics on that station before. A few jokes here and there, perhaps, but these people whined and moaned about it for a half an hour. Even after listeners started calling in asking them to shut up and play some music.

The powers that be control the media and airwaves more and more often because they have money. I really wonder how many people really listen to Glenn Beck.

I mean back in the 90s Rush was popular but you would hear co-workers talk about him....

I do not think that is true today.
I mean when was the last time that someone said did you hear what Beck said today?
Out of the blue say something like that?

Beck is not nearly in Rush's league, mass-culture-fandom wise. You have to be fairly hard-core to go Beck. If Rush is reefer, Beck is smack.
