Administration officials, in talking to reporters, were careful not to declare a full-fledged victory. In a report issued Sunday, officials with the Department of Health and Human Services said the next few months would require further work to “improve and enhance the website and continue to improve the consumer experience.” Officials have also said repeatedly that consumers might still encounter difficulties and urged them to use the call center and seek help from specially trained personnel."
You and I are reading that link in entirely different ways. (Yes, I did read the whole thing.)

Could it be that some people are latching on to every negative as a means of reinforcing their perceptions of the ACA, while others are willing to ignore faults because of hopes for what the ACA will do?

I went online to pay my cellphone bill last night. A notice popped up to tell me the site was experiencing technical difficulties and advised me to check back later.
Sad to see cellphones have become such an absolute failure. I kinda liked mine.

That combined with their overwhelming desire to see anything Obama does as a failure.

Of course they are, I was just watching Carol on CNN and even the media are spreading the malarkey about how young people will be paying for we old folks. Really? Then why does our health insurance cost us in excess of $10,000 per year (and I don't even take drugs). Could it be that we are really paying for those young people who will not buy insurance but whom the hospitals MUST treat by law. I was in Hospital (waiting room) twice last year when I tore the meniscus in my left knee. The experience was such a f**king disaster that whe the right knee went I said to hell with it and stayed home
Mabe if Bonehead wants to repeal ACA he should let the hospitals off the hook as well, no more compulsory treatment. Oh yes while we are at it lets break up the wholesale racket in prescription drugs so that the corner drugstore can get its drugs direct. Instead there are maybe four wholesale companies who control the prices. Yes kiddees, that BS about Americans paying for all the drug research is pure horse hockey, instead we are lining the pockets of the wholesale drug dealers.

And, even if the young were paying for the old............so what, Rob? When did taking care of our elderly become a bad thing?
I really do worry about what these assholes are doing to my people. Bunch of damn Baboons.

Could be. Could also be that folks who understand the long term impact of this piece of legislation are expressing their opinions about it, while those who are blindly in favor of it are "willing to ignore the faults because of the hopes for what ACA will do."

If it lasts for months, still doesn't work after they promised that it would, and they have to spend $600 MM to fix it, then you can be sad about it.

To add some color to your post, $10000 a year is $833 per month, or about $417 per person. While I don't know the content of your policy, I suspect that's not a Medicare supplemental policy. Such policies are available through AARP for as low as $180/month per person, or as much as $338/month per person. So, we'd need to know more (and no, I'm not asking) about the content of your policy, and why you're choosing to pay more for coverage when other options are available.
If its not a Medicare supplemental policy, and you're choosing to buy an individual policy with full coverage, $833 per month is actually a pretty competitive rate. That rate is actually competitive with the rates you'll find on Maryland's health insurance exchange, though is possible that some of the plans on the exchange will have fewer docs and hospitals participating.
