The Evolution from Klipsch to Altec for the upstairs room is a bit more graphic...

Khorns got replaced by Altec Model 15's.

What possessed you to BURN a set of K-Horns? I might have driven out there to get them, if you were going to do that!

But, you know how we are. I nearly cried. And, I still don't understand burning the cabinets either.

I wouldn't have burned them either.

But I'm the kind of guy who will spend a buck for lacquer thinner to clean a 99 cent chip brush...just because it has real bristles.

BTW MP, a nice collection.

OK, now that the shock is over, they were actually handbuilt from 1/2" MDF and resonated like a Banshee. With hardwood floors, they were actually intolerable to listen to inside the house.

I'm a simple person. I use iTunes on my phone with ear buds. Not quite in your league.
