Nope, and if you to insert Jewish and a nazi flag, nope again. Though legal, the only thing that waving a confederate flag in front of and at The White House can be that of racial hatred towards our President IMO.

There most certainly are plenty of other flags that one could use to display patriotism.

You cannot change what the flag symbolizes to others, regardless of what it means to you.

AFAIK there are no Native Americans making any serious complaint. If they don't care, I don't care.

[edit: we agree Dave ] A recent survey of Native Americans showed 90% of them couldn't care less.

Soooo... US pop is around 308 mil, total Native 5.2 mil, less 90% = 0.17% can cause that name - chosen to honor a coach - to be tossed.

Next up, the Cleveland Indians? Atlanta Braves? Many others? Like Jolson in blackface it's actually a compliment, at least, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

I wouldn't say Jolson in blackface was a compliment given that, as I understand it, the roles played were sometimes at issue. Racism in the theaters of the 1920s and prior was overt and often mean spirited.

I recall seeing a signage collection that included an old theater sign that read;

"Coon! Coon! Coon! The Silliest Niggers You've Ever Seen!"

Below is a handbill from that play.
