Ted Cruz was spotted last night holding court with ~20 of the House's Tea Party caucus at a Capitol Hill restaurant. He's still in that hole, digging.

Apparently. However it is nice to see those two overwhelming pleasant terms united on a picture.

You think he will delay the vote in the Senate so as to go past the debt limit on Thursday? I would not put it past him.....

1. He's playing to win.
2. If they makes a deal, he doesn't win, at least not the way he wants.
3. He's going to try busting the limit, he'll convince himself he can win that way.

The problem is, he wants power, a lot. When you want it that bad you make poor decisions, especially if you don't have things like honesty and decency to restrain you.

No idea, but he seems delusional enough to somehow think it's a good idea. Meanwhile, Fox and talk radio still are providing cover for him.
