Are you saying that since the regulators have been hamstrung by your party going back to the days of St. Ronnie (the snitch) of RKO, we should do away with any oversight?

Recent history of oversight has been the responsibility of Dems like Dodd and Frank. Are you suggesting that their oversight was ineffective?

Pffft, back atcha. Dodd Frank is a very new mechanism that has been fought tooth and nail by your party. I find it "interesting" that you ignore the thirty plus years of 'deregulation' that the Repugnant party has been championing.
