I was just trying to put a face on the sequester.
The outcome of worse case scenario possibilities there is mind boggling. And it also makes you wonder how much they are covering up, especially the groundwater, as not to freak out the rather populous areas downstream from there.
But the money ain't there right now to even tread water in the situation so what are you going to do? As well as all the other similar situations.
I realize how happy it makes the teabaggers but I just can't get past compromising public health like that just to cut the budget with the sequester.

Watching the Prez right now and feeling tired of him being the nice guy. He needs to go all FDR on this pissant minority of the Repugnant party.

Boehner can't or won't herd this squalling buncha babies, he needs to go back to tending bar.

Yawn.

http://www.npr.org/blogs/itsallpolit...nment-shutdown

Read the section "It's not the first time.". The only thing new is the media drum beat about who gets the blame for something which is an outgrowth of a budget process that dates back to 1976. This is a non-story.

This post is the closest thing that we will get to an admission that it is the GOP's fault. If there were an easy way to pin this on Obama, it most certainly would not be labelled a non-story.

The Republicans are just looking in the mirror when applying the blame. Lets face it every one of us are counting on the day we qualify for Medicare. They know this all to well. So there by are also well aware once the ACA benefits become known all their arguments go away.
