Hmmmmm...........
Yeah, my employer officially stated that we can choose between our current coverage or go to the "Marketplace". But, I'm guessing the between the lines message is "....for now.".
Next year, who knows?

Nah! I owned a pair of rf-7’s for a while, and still own a pair of rf-3’s. I've had them on tube and SS amps, and didn't experience boomy bass. In your case, who knows? Maybe a different strokes thing, maybe the room, maybe upstream gear incompatibility? Or maybe I just got lucky.
Hung out with Craig O one afternoon and had them hooked up to a pair of his VRD's. Sweet!

Yup. Keg used the Dyna chassis and the iron. The rest is a combination of Star Wars and stuff pilfered from GE'S research labs circa early 1960’s.

The amp uses (4) 6LR8 outputs, and (2) 5V4 rectifier tubes. The 6LR8’s are the "compactron" tubes that the boys in the AK DIY forum are getting all fired up about over the last year or two.

I have some RB-5s that are really nice
At work my partner has some Klipsch RF-10s...small towers with two 4 inch woofers and a small horn....they are really really nice sounding.
do not leave Klipsch with orange drivers at the good will is my motto

No, he's thinking about how to advise people for a year from now, not in 90 days, and for sure not in five days.
There are no set guidelines at this point. And the government keeps moving the goalposts.
It's a fucking cabbage headed mess. Don't you get that?

I think your employer may be referring to a one time exception where employees in large group plans may use the new availability of coverage through the Exchange to leave their employer's plan and go to the Exchange for coverage. That's for 2014 only. After that, you won't be able to drop your employer's plan and go to the exchange until your employer's annual open enrollment.
