In your state, hell no. Nor do I care. Missouri is your problem. Here, it seems to be relatively quiet. My employer shares info as they obtain it, and as I said, so far it appears to be nothing to shit myself over.

So, what I'm gonna do about Obamacare is.................nothing.

The Republicans in the state government are probably deliberately keeping people ignorant. It helps them control the narrative.

Seriously though, ditch the subs and the others. Get a pair of speakers that goes down under 30Hz to 20khz or more, get something to power them and a great pre and just be done with it
Yeah, 70 bucks is some serious dough.

My Klipsch pretty much do that, and while very close to the HS's in sound, they just don't have the "wow" factor.

My Cornwalls had pretty decent bass with tubes, but the highs were enough to make my ears bleed. I think they may have actually sounded better when I blew the T-35's. I like the HF of the Model 15's much better. They don't go as low as 19's, but they have the same 802-8g HF driver. I really like the balance of my Monitor Audio Silver 9i's with the older McIntosh SS stuff though.

I've looked at those sites, and they're too generic for me. To start with, they ask what is your income. I'm assuming that would be taxable income after deductions, but they don't specify this. And from there on, a lot of the choices given don't seem to apply to even me.

Kind of reminds me of the assembly instructions to a Chinese swing set.

My point is, this is going into effect in five days. And this is some damned important legislation...it affects not only a person's pocket book, but their health as well.

And nobody really knows shit from beans about it.

Don't get me wrong. It's the law, and I'm willing to give it a fair shake...even though I think it's a shitty law and isn't being applied fairly.

I don't mind making a decision, just don't show up with thousands of dollars laying on the table and say do it now. And by the way, the rules may change tomorrow.

That kind of shit pisses me off, and for good reason.

Chas

That's pretty much what I'm doing.........nothing.

And my employees are doing the same thing. Although after I gave them their paperwork, they DID cuss a little before they threw it in the dumpster.

They don't have insurance, and they don't want insurance. They go to the doctor way more than I do, somebody always picks up the tab.

And you know who that somebody is.

Funny thing is, they don't have insurance and will go to the doctor for most anything....while I DO have insurance and sit here medicating myself with whiskey and Fish Mox.

Go figure.

Of course, if you want to sue me, you won't have to stand in line. And this turnip has a fair supply of blood.

Interesting, here in Ca. whether it is county, public or whatever, if you go and do not pay you still get billed. If you do not then pay, they send it to a collection agency to harass you and trash your credit rating before they write it off.

That's what I never liked about Klipsch......well, the old line, anyhow. Those damned icepick tweeters. I've seen people replace them with domes. A bit less efficient that way, but you're not an aural stabbing victim when the music stops.

The Altec horns are nice. I had a set of A7s once with the 511 horns and 902 Tangerines. Very nice. Even the 808-8a was nice and smooth, albeit a tad too rolled off on top for my taste.

Now, I run the Selenium 220ti blowing though PE waveguides. A lot of resonance, so I dampened the backside of the horns with that thick conduit putty...about 2lbs on each horn. Even then, there was a looooong break I period on the drivers.
After about 100 hours.........they sound very nice.
