Must have been a pleasant relief, been thinking of taking a sabbatical myself.

Astronomer, eh? I belonged to a club some years ago. I never got too deep into it, but I enjoyed it. There's just something peaceful (and humbling) about spending a night stargazing, hunting down interesting objects. I've felt far more spiritual doing that than I ever did at any boring church service.
