yeah I remember you!! I wish I had 2000 lol I have about 500 receivers, but over 1000 components. my "shock and awe!" system stunt was pretty much what dun did me in. funny. what im running now is peanuts compaired to that rig!

oh and for those of you reading this that are still active members at AK, I do things a little different now. im still running several hundered receivers in my master system but its safe now. my system and collection is housed in the detached two car garage outside my house. It has its own dedicated 6 tap breaker box with 20 amp breakers, as well as 2 220v lines, everything is GFI 3 pronge with 6 recepticals that are modern, and all wiring is located outside, not inside of the walls for better cooling and fire prevention, I also have multiple circuit arrestors, a lightning rod that's grounded to prevent surges, as well as line stabilizing equipment. the room is also climate controlled via a 20,000 btu AC and I have 3 fire extinguishers around the room. cant be too careful.

ive grown up and so has my practice with gear. too bad I cant be in AK any more, ive got a lot of new stuff to share. but I guess ill always be frozen in time there as the 25 year old kid living in a falling down trailer in west palm beach. my life is totally different now. oh well.
