Cool. I have a Peter Max on the wall in my office. I was very lucky to attend an event he spoke at. He signed posters for each of us. Really cool.

I have always liked his works.

I would own more of his stuff but when I have the cash McIntosh always releases a new product and now Wilson has the Sasha which we all NEED.

Crimson Lady.
Great stuff! I'm only familiar with his work more or less in the style of the Yellow Submarine animation. Your lithograph is quite different and quite good.

Back to the OP. I'm watching the beginning of this Beck "documentary" on my DVR. It's basically Beck and Jonah Goldberg putting forth a revisionist thesis that Hitler was, after all, a left-wing nut and not a right-wing nut. The underlying argument is that all things bad are an outgrowth of "progressive" thought.

Thanks I have owned a few pieces by artists such as Erte, Nagel and Max that I have enjoyed over the years.

Made a pretty compelling arguement to me, are you saying there was no ideas in this that are not to this day embraced by the Left?
Maybe Hitler was just a NUT and doesntt need a Left or Right badge equated to pure evil.
But that wont do as the Left will see it as Rightwing thoughts and the Right has plenty of ammo to see how it is a Leftwing premise.

I don't think any serious political thinker (Beck and Limbaugh don't count) would truly argue that Nationalism Socialism was a left wing phenomena. Granted, Nazism and Soviet Communism were both brutal dictatorships guilty of many atrocities, but that alone doesn't mean that the underpinnings of their political philosophies are identical. This show was nothing more than a continuation of the demagogic drivel wherein Rush & Beck used Nazi rhetoric and symbolism to describe Obama's health care plan. The upshot of this show is that everything evil emanates from political philosophies that reside left of center. For Fox to call this show a "documentary" is disingenuous at best.

That's shocking. You're such a free thinker. Can't imagine you just going lock step with Beck.
