And, no, this post doesn't damage my credibility but I did find that comment amusing coming from you!
Some reading material for you...

This is hillarious. You're actually asking folks to believe this bullshit?
Here's a list of what we've been asked to believe by those of you who believe yourselves to be so much more enlightened than everyone else:
- Ms Jeantel doesn't have a credibility problem. Not only can't she read her own handwriting, she's speaking in a language that only she, Mr Martin, and some of you are capable of understanding.
- The prosecution failed to comprehend that she was speaking in a manner that the jury wouldn't understand. Therefore, they failed to coach / caution their star witness to make sure she used language that the jurors, who we're asked to believe are at the same time elitist and intellectually challenged, could understand during her testimony.
- The word "cracka" has a meaning that, sadly, was lost on the jury. This meaning is so obscure to "the elite" in society that its meaning, as used by Mr Martin on that fateful night, somehow may have mattered in the disposition of this case by the jury if they'd only been "street enough" to understand it. No matter that definition that the word "cracka" as used by Mr Martin and defined by Ms Jeantel cannot be verified.
I'm sure you'll find some folks around here to buy the shit you're peddling, so keep up the good work.

That's typically what I think of your diatribes.
Of course, it hasn't occurred yet...

Perhaps we could throw some more tax money at the schools and add Ebonics to the menu of languages taught. Immersion in the language might help the ignorant whites better understand the black culture.

I personally know Dr. Robert Williams II, Professor Emeritus of Psychology and African and Afro-American Studies at the Washington University in St. Louis, MO. He also happens to be the guy that coined the phrase "Ebonics" and wrote "the book". What his book has been twisted into by "the right" is not what his intentions were for sure.
Very kind man with a lovely wife, and a family of very intelligent and successful children. Interesting when you get to talk to the guy that "started it"....

Just saw the Anderson Cooper interview with the juror. My favorite line was "You ask ten different people ten different questions, and you get ten different answers."
While I think there's merit to the point that you can't judge someone's intelligence on a media interview, I also find it very hard to understand how the prosecution ended up with a jury full of these types..
They blew the jury selection process in spectacular fashion also?
Did they purposely take a dive to get more division and attention for bigger ambitions?

Not that I have much room to talk but at least I don't curse at ladies. A bit of friendly advice, don't let your SO read over your shoulder. Stay classy, Mike.
As an aside, "hillarious" has only one L in it. Try spellcheck next time you want to criticize my spellink..
You have a nice night.

Evidently a four of these jurors are distancing themselves from the publicity seeking juror on Coop's show. The balloon that she floated about a book deal seems to have popped also.
I understand sequestering a jury during a trial but after the trial is over should they be accorded anonymity? Just wondrin' aloud.

Or was just maybe if the black and white schools were equivalent things might be different. See where I come from the schools are independent of skin color and graduation rates are pretty well indistiguishable.
