Don't believe I've ever heard "Wet Dream"........I'll have to keep an eye peeled.
Pink Floyd as a group has as yet to be topped, IMO.
Think I'll fire up the garage system and jam Songs from the film "More".

Ah....More, another one on heavy rotation. I've not listend to much DSOTM or post that album Floyd lately aside from Momentary and Division Bell. Just a bit burned on it all.
Do check out Wet Dream as it's a great album. I think it's the sax player from DSOTM on here along with Snowy White on guitar would later be part of the Band on the Wall tour.....

If you think the Altecs are harsh I can only imagine what you will think of the Klipsch. Especially if you are using a solid state amp to drive them.

That is the thing.....I love my Klipsch but they are not the classic...they are synergy and reference. RB-5s and SB-3s.
Maybe a cap change improve things.......they do sound decent with some stuff....the guitar solos make my ears hurt on rock though...and this is with tube amp.
Thanks for the Niles suggestion I have a rat shack selector but it does not change the ohm rating so I have to be careful.

Nice!
no wonder I found the Santana at the thrift...no horn.
At least I did do a successful refoam job I am proud of myself for that I got over my fear of shimming....

The B's were my first set of "real" speakers. This photo was from long ago when I first started in this hobby. I don't think I still have any of the gear seen in the photos

Not at this point. I was still rooted in SS. I really was not far into the journey. The Sansui G-8700DB you see there was the center piece. I very nice sounding receiver.

Also caught just a little bit of the "Strat Pack" - a couple of songs by Joe Walsh. I have all sorts of other concert films/documentaries queued up - now I just have to find the time.
Since my wife is in bed, I listened through the USB sound fob and Sennheiser HO 457 headphones. Not bad at all.

Hmmm, might have to give Netflix a shot. Thanks for the tip, Don. Love some Tull.

Clapton:Unplugged in the car yesterday to the family shindig in Redondo Beach. (A whole nest of Cali liberals. )
on to 'Hymns of The 49th Parallel' by KD Lang...damn, best pipes I've ever heard. 'A Case of You' is sounding magical on JBLs and 6V6s.
Sorry, Bonnie.

The last SS receiver I had was a Sansui 890DB. It was a good looking piece, but I never really cared for the sound.
It most likely was in need of some caps and a bias adjustment.
