They need to present the history of both. That way the jury can come to a verdict without having a conscience after the trial is over. If I was on the jury, I'd want both life histories before making a call either way. Just my opinion.

It violates the rights of a defendant to bring up past criminal history in most cases as far as I know. I could be wrong about that... I'm not a lawyer.

Which is why I wouldn't want to be on that jury.

I would love to be on that jury because if they tried to let him off I would hang the jury.

Lets reverse the situation. If Zimmerman had the iced tea and skittles would you still hang the jury?

Zippy would've stayed in his car in that scenario, wishing he didn't have to sit in his own filth while waiting for a duly authorized law enforcement officer (LEO) to show up. As he should have in the first place.

No matter which direction the jury sided, if I thought there was more info we hadn't been told from either side of the fence I'd hang the jury. I've never sat in a seat for jury duty. In order for me to do so, I'd have to know a shitload of details of each person in a case like this.

If having to serve and it was someone who beat, raped and killed a person, it wouldn't be hard to decide as long as there was no reasonable doubt.

Agreed to the bolded. Sorry for my indelicate description of Zimmerman but I happen to think he is a coward of the worst sort, one with a gun.

One hour?
Three?
A Day?

I'm leaning towards three hours.
