they were huge when I was a kid....
I can still remember hearing New Kid In Town for the first time listening to my Zenith all in one down in my basement back in Ohio....WMMS was playing it. It got played to death.

Hey they did sell a lot of records. I'm just Southern Rock guy married to a Heavy metal gal!

I think the Big Lebowski basically nails the Eagles...great scene.
I heard that Allen Klein actually let them use the Townes Van Zandt version of Dead Flowers for free when he was at a preview and saw that scene
