Strong car sales - a sign of a real recovery.

Does the strong car sales mean the recovery is for real?....will not sputter and die.

Who knows.

But, explain to me how it could possibly be a bad thing.

I'm sure someone will be along shortly with some cockamamie ideas to that effect.

EZ credit!!!

No money down!!!

Buy now and save!!!

Since our currency, and our economy, is based on debt, I think everyone should jump on the bandwagon.

Except for me.

Death clears all debts....Well, for the deceased, anyhow.

One thing that puzzles me is that if the economy is so weak why are all the commutes still awful? Sometimes I think that there are more people working than before...at least that is how it seems here in California.

The city seems to be attracting a lot of young bright people from various states and all over the world. Brooklyn has a lot of energy.

The mayor, like him or not, has really put a lot of effort in creating a high tech sector.
And right now the people on Wall Street are smiling.

Good question. Have you considerd the possibility that some of the doomsaying is contrived, because a certain powerful party has a vested interest in keeping it's followers feeling miserable and hopeless?
