To be clear, I didn’t say punch Obama in the face — you’re going to get me arrested with this type of government.

Yes, threatening to punch the president would be a crime in "this type of government," what dark times we live in.

Finally, and most importantly, it’s simply not likely or at all probable that anyone would actually follow her command, especially because the words leading up to her call to punch Obama voters make it clear she’s in the middle of a political rant.

She and I must not be living in the same America.

The Soviet Union? Really? Anyone who really believes that is truly clueless. Every single day, all day long, we watch journalists and other citizens trash-talk politicians and the government. We ride around with political bumper stickers on our vehicles. For crying out loud we recently had a Tea Party zealot try to amass, what was it, ten thousand armed marchers to gather in the capital?..............

Did anyone end up in a Gulag? No. People like this woman are ridiculous. There is no comarison between "Obamas America" and the Soviet Union.

In the Soviet Union most of them would be in prison, run out of the country or DEAD already.

It's a sad fact of the lack of education of the world in America. I was in the Soviet Union, and it is an experience I will never forget. Sadly, the US took a strong turn towards a soviet type government when Bush was in power, but that is conveniently overlooked.

Also, we do have a true communist dictatorship still functioning in the world, and those same folks happily and voluntarily support that regime. But sending money to China is no big deal, as long as you can save $2 in Walmart.
