I would really hate to see the level of conversation here reduced to the lowest common denominator. Except that if that happened, I might spend time on other things that I need to.

Regards,

D-Ray

Fellas, fellas................

D-rays right. I have clothes to wash, a car to clean, dogs to walk, and a cartridge to mount sometime today. Just thought I'd pop in to see what's going on and I see this.

Enough! Go to your rooms! You can come out when you've grown up a little!

Just for clarity's sake, I did NOT make the last post as one free from sin, so please, don't anyone take it as a thrown stone.

Any luck at the thrifts?

Regards,

D-Ray

Naw, haven't made it to the bins, been trying to set-up a Grado cart on a Revox linear arm (PITA). Can't seem to get the tracking force right.

I went to the dump today. Niente.

Then I went to a local record store that's closing, 50% off on used vinyl & CDs, 40% off on new. I was VERY late to the game. Everything's really picked over but I still scored ten nice used LPs for around $14.00.

That's why I'm not watching the games.

Man, good luck, Dave. Linears are really cool but fussy.

Especially when the previous owner was a jackass. It's up and running now, but he had a twenty dollar cart on it with the tracking force set at 3.8 grams and the adjusting screw "Lock-tited". Tomorrow I tackle this RCA cord that has no less than three splices in it, (To make it longer----about twelve feet.).

I think we're violating some sort of rule here.

So,.....Get back on topic!

That's not possible. We're libs. Libs are too afraid to step outside well defined boundaries. I know this because the cons tell me so.

When you consider what the OP was, how can you get off topic?
