Not sure about that. Yeah, they claim the works written by all kinds of folks, revised and edited again and again were divinely inspired. But the translation falls down. Too many of them and they often disagree on meaning. So interpretation can't be avoided at that point. But there also can't be several absolute, infallible word's of God that don't say the same thing.
Quite the conundrum.

I don't think whoever wrote Revalations was divinely inspired, more likely smoking funny cigs.

all religon derives its power from abuse of the individaul mind. the fundamentalist of all sects only want to ensure their own survival and thats it.
no gods of any kind levels the field and makes all humankind the same. it makes us responsible for our own destiny and our own stupidity. we dont have religon because we need god we have religon because we are to fucking stupid to save ourselves and we need someone else to blame
