I worded that poorly. Smiley may be to the left but Ifill isn't.
As I've said before, Hillary is center left and bush is just an oligarch.

Ifill, when she talks about people on the right she looks like she's eating, well, crap
Wealth. Tough one, we need someone who knows excel:
http://www.opensecrets.org/pfds/over...pe=W&year=2008
I was going to delete all in the White house, note the total average, then delete all the Reps, total, and there we'd have it.
But while I was deleting I noticed to my horror that I was getting copies of the non-deleted. Anyone?
Pete

Yeah Pete, you really need to take off those blue glasses, makes you think everyone is a liberal.

I should have said this before but I was just waking up. Simply put, having wealth isn't the same as serving wealth. Nobody could claim that the Kennedys and the Roosevelts ever served the wealthy or ignored the interests of the poor and disenfranchised. Conversely, nobody could honestly deny that Reagan did just that.

That being said, it looks to me like the Rs and the Ds are pretty evenly distributes down the list so, if these figures are to be believed, it's probably pretty close to even between the two parties. You do see somewhat more Ds as you scan the list but that's because they're the majority party.

Uh John, that's a comma not a decimal point - $332 million, hell I'm worth more than $400 grand.

Shit! My brain doesn't go that high!
Now I'm amazed for the opposite reasons. I mean, I knew that the Congress was a "millionaires' club" but I had no idea of the extent to which that was true. Alcee Hastings is the "poorest" at around a half a mil.
