To me they are nothing but a small number of misguided fools in unorganizied ineffective small groups peppered around around country.

I would not be so quick to underestimate them. Hatred knows no bounds and only breeds more hatred.

Apart from their orientation they should be no different than any other soldier. Considering the crap they have to put up with why people believe someone would voluntarily be gay beats the heck out of me.

I never read his statements, only references in other books. Something about not being corrupted by weak womenfolk.
