I don't really think the current Pope is a Nazi either. And, I'm thinking Pius XII was probably going along to avoid having Catholics rounded up and sent to the camps with the Jews. (Which, I believe began happening anyways, towards the end of the war.)

But, I do believe that ALL of the Popes and most religious leaders are really nothing more than politicians and businessmen, pushing an agenda and selling their product.

Another of the reasons we left the churches, nowhere have I read where Jesus asked us to build all those huge edifices at great expense when that money could have helped so many people.

A visit to the Vatican Museum is enough to make anyone question the motives and history of the Catholic Church. It makes the Crown Jewels and other baubles at the Tower of London look like the goods at a shabby Goodwill store.
