Linda really has an opportunity to show off her most refined voice in What's New. Nice Album.

My listening tonight: Ben Harper, Both Sides of the Gun and Fight for Your Mind.

Regards,

D-Ray

I still have to play my Both Sides of the Gun.....

Linda's Lush Life brings my Kefs 104/2 alive in a way that is almost scary...and that is a cassette.

One of my fondest memories of my parents stems from that album. It was their 50th anniversary (April 9th, 1994) and I packed up the stereo (At the time, all NAD and my Acoustic Research AR48s.) and took it to Ohio with me and set it up in the church Fellowship Hall. I played "What's New" and a few other Big Band selections. I can still see them dancing in front of me and hear my mother humming along to "What'll I do?" when I listen to that album.

Damn, Don. Ya done made me tear up.

Thanks,
Dave

Blame it on Ice. He brought her up.

It's good that you have memories like that. It's part of what makes us who we are.

My mom killed off all of her husbands before she could get to fifty years with any of them.

Regards,

D-Ray
