That's leadership.

I still maintain that there is not a man or woman on God's green earth worth more than $800,000 a year and that there are bloody few of them.

Only police having guns is NOT a police state?

It's not. A police state is when the military takes over the government, aka martial law.

When is the last time a policeman has killed a classroom of first graders with a machine gun?

And puts soldiers in the schools and other public places. Come to think of it, a Republican in my family posted a picture of a Marine standing in front of a school (unarmed) and raved about what a great idea that was; Marines guarding schools and public places................

Now, let's see. Who is it that has a love affair with guns and the military................?

Regards,
Dave

Sorry, I missed about 4 million pages

Police out of control can certainly be a police state. Watch what happens the next time some cop in your neighborhood does something wrong. Nothing will happen - their unions make them almost untouchable.

To switch gears, I mentioned it before: My local school district published their plans for a problem like this and said they were prepared. I read it. Their plan is, be shot.

Great plan.
