Back in "The day" around 1978 the jukebox at the local watering hole (Shorty's) would play all the current hits. In that year my song was Steely Dan's "FM" with the refrain "the girls don't seem to care". At around 1:30 A.M. as we stumbled out of the door at closing time "Take Five" would come on. It was always a shock because it was so different. The bar owner insisted that song would always remain whenever the playlist was updated. It was played alot. A great piece of music.

Kin: Songs by Mary Karr & Rodney Crowell...found it at the Savers on the way home....

There is a pair of Boston Accoustics A100s at a near by thrift...guy wanted $40 for each but I think he would have taken $40 for both...I have some A70s already and the 100s have to be re-foamed too

The A40s are my bedroom speakers. Excellent. I would love to try some of the larger BAs. I had a pair of HD 8, that were fine for what they are, but Always wanted to try the A200. No new gear here, however, until I get a whole lot cleared out. CL is pretty slow lately.

Regards,

D-Ray

I almost feel silly posting on this thread... You are all so much more sophisticated in your taste of music than I. But I've been playing around with my new phone (I know, not quite the fancy speakers and sound systems you are used to ) and I've stumbled across a YouTube of Carly Rose Soneclair singing Somewhere Over The Rainbow. This is part of a competition on a tv show I hadn't heard of before.

She sings the song beautifully.
