It now seems that pretty much everybody (23 out of 30) in Benghazi were CIA and 7 were State Dept. The security failures resulted from miscommunications/misunderstanding between the two agencies. There's a thorough article discussing this in the WSJ.

It seems to me that I predicted earlier in this thread that the Benghazi affair was the result of poor coordination between government agencies.

Do a Google search on this test string "When the bodies of Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans killed in Benghazi, Libya, arrived at Andrews Air Force Base after the Sept. 11 attack" and link from Google into the article.

BTW, Faux's report on the whole stand-down, lasers and AC-130 seems to have also been fabricated. Shocking.

Thanks! I knew after Issa outed the CIA in his "investigation" that there was a lot more to this.

As this thing unfolds, what appears clear is that the GOP and its noise machine will jeopardize national security by helping to reveal the nature of CIA covert operations in Libya to score some cheap points. Bravo, patriots.
