No Marx = no Stalin, no Mao, etc, even if they didn't adhere to Marx's theories he got them there.

It's the belief that one knows better than the other, enough to justify force, imo.

The Russian revolution had more to do with Rasputin than Marx, it was just a convenient name to hang their hats on.

I kinda agree, but it does need something to snow the masses. Perhaps, tyranny needs any ideology?

I do notice some get irritated when I mention there's a straight line from Marx to some of the most successful killers in history
