Now that is something we can really get behind! Just forget all the other bullshit going on in the world and put all your attention on this crap!

Pro sports can take a hike!

Isn't there a yearly Halloween parade in SF too?
(or maybe I'm thinking of the gay rights parade.... )

In the Castro. Also in West Hollywood.

IIRC, they just call it Pride Parade these days or close to it. They used to do an annual candlelight walk from Harvey Milk's camera shop to city hall. Have no clue if they do it anymore. They used to have a large Halloween thing but people shooting people ended that.

Oh shit! It's Halloween. Thanks for reminding me. I need to turn all the lights off and hide in the back of the house. Hopefully, the little angels will not damage my yard or vehicles. Since I'm up late, I'll be listening and watching for the larger more destructive teenagers.

There is much reduced baseball talk in this big city since the Yankee October failure. The most hated man......A Rod.
The Yankees players were stunned, bewildered when their fans booed them. they suggested that the booing contributed significantly to their failure to hit. Whiners!

Frankly, without the Yanks there is a feeling of diminished interest countrywide.
