Actually, the moderate, old school republicans I was thinking of were the voters. There have to be a lot of Eisenhower republicans like myself who are shocked to find they are supporting the Dems.

Yeah. Those are few and far between these days. Even some of the older folks have gotten swept up in the madness these days. In some cases they seem to get them with nostalgia for the '50s, religious and social issues.

The country needs a third party. A moderate centrist/right party to take back the place held by the old republicans, and give a non radical opposition to the Democrats. A party to take back America, and not in the tea party sense.
