Sorry if I don't explain clearly, I'm technologically declined. Signal to TV from the net goes Modem -> BD player -> TV.
The computer uses the same modem so I should have a path between the BD player and the computer already. I just don't know how to make it work. Pete

That should give you a signal from the laptop to the Blue Ray to the TV and show up on the same AV channel that you normally watch. You might have to disconnect the cable from the modem to the Blue Ray. It could conflict with the laptop. John

Wow I looked up my BD player and it's got almost nothing! Wireless LAN connector, wired LAN connector, Audio RCAs out, Video RCA out, HDMI out, and Optical audio out - that's it!
I KNOW my TV has a big bunch of inputs but can't remember the model number, it's been a couple three years. I'll take a look when I get home. Thanks again John. I've been wanting to do this for a while. Pete
