Sorry if I don't explain clearly, I'm technologically declined. Signal to TV from the net goes Modem -> BD player -> TV.
The computer uses the same modem so I should have a path between the BD player and the computer already. I just don't know how to make it work.

Okay, I would just ignore all of that. Use the wireless signal from your router to your laptop so you can stream something like Frontline on the laptop. Then move the video signal to the TV via an S-video cable. You can either use the laptop for audio or run a Y-cable from the laptop to the TV.
The question then becomes what channel the signal will use. I don't know but your TV probably has at least two AV channels so it'll probably be the one that the Blue Ray player isn't using.
Just thought of something. If the Blue Ray player has an S-video input, and I'll bet it does, as well as some unused audio inputs, you can connect the laptop there. That should give you a signal from the laptop to the Blue Ray to the TV and show up on the same AV channel that you normally watch. You might have to disconnect the cable from the modem to the Blue Ray. It could conflict with the laptop.

Wow I looked up my BD player and it's got almost nothing! Wireless LAN connector, wired LAN connector, Audio RCAs out, Video RCA out, HDMI out, and Optical audio out - that's it!
I KNOW my TV has a big bunch of inputs but can't remember the model number, it's been a couple three years. I'll take a look when I get home. Thanks again John. I've been wanting to do this for a while.

If you watched more PBS you would be less declined, Pete.
