Turd Blossom's Latest Turd

Beautiful, isn't it? Obama as Neo-Soviet dupe. Elect Obama and the Red Army will be under your bed tonight.

Entertaining in a Colbert sort of way. Turd Blossom is indeed a shameless prick. He who gave Shrub to the world should be shunned by any society with a conscience.

Elect Republicans and the Soviets will certainly be under your bed. Nothing like a secret meeting at the Kremlin between Bush's Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson, GoldmanSachs board, and Vladimir Putin. Muhahahah.

Anybody who believes that crap is an imbecile. I can only hope the unregulated flow of money from corporate interest, to produce these attack ads, backfires because of market over-saturation that turns people off to this crap.

While Johnson was responsible for the first attack ad which was the famous daisy girl and the mushroom cloud, lee Atwater took attack ads to a whole new level. When he knew he was going to die; at the age of forty, he realized what a prick he was, and wrote letters of apology to the people who's lives, and careers he destroyed with his vicious attack ads like the Willie Horton ad.

His own words:

In a February 1991 article for Life magazine, Atwater wrote:

"My illness helped me to see that what was missing in society is what was missing in me: a little heart, a lot of brotherhood. The '80s were about acquiring — acquiring wealth, power, prestige. I know. I acquired more wealth, power, and prestige than most. But you can acquire all you want and still feel empty. What power wouldn't I trade for a little more time with my family? What price wouldn't I pay for an evening with friends? It took a deadly illness to put me eye to eye with that truth, but it is a truth that the country, caught up in its ruthless ambitions and moral decay, can learn on my dime. I don't know who will lead us through the '90s, but they must be made to speak to this spiritual vacuum at the heart of American society, this tumor of the soul."

This article was notable for an apology to Michael Dukakis for the 'naked cruelty' of the 1988 presidential election campaign

Sadly turd blossom did not read the memo.

We could learn a lot from Atwater's last words. Although I have to believe, that if he was in his 60's now and active in politics, he would be the envy of turd blossom Rove.

But he may have received it. Karl Rove was pretty much mentored by Atwater. There is a story that, toward the end of his life, Atwater urged Rove to turn away from the destructive practices they had both honed to near perfection. Clearly Rove had other ideas.

I see. So what part of "a little heart" is reflected by accusing your political opponent of being a felon and suggesting that they're responsible for someone's death?

Sheesh! Its October in an election year. Its called "silly season" for a reason.

Because maybe he is a felon? Why else would Mitt not release his tax forms? Whellie, you're getting sillier and more whiney by the day. Hoo, boy.

Are you talking about Romney and his taxes? Who called him a felon?
